Inkript has been selected as a technical partner and subcontractor for Otojuste, the company that was awarded prime contractor for the Secure Vehicle Sticker (RFID) Management System project by the “Direction Générale des Recettes de Kinshasa” (DGRK) in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Inkript won the tender for the biometric driving licenses, vehicle registration cards, secure vehicle plates and Radio-Frequency IDentification (RFID) tags (stickers) that rely on a very sophisticated electronic system. The Lebanese Minister of Labor, H.E. Sajaan Azzi, announced the launching of the Smart ID Card for foreign workers in Lebanon. Azzi, who was speaking at a press conference in the presence of Hisham Itani, Chairman & CEO of Inkript, stated that as of the first of January 2016, the ministry will start issuing this new smart card for all foreign workers from all nationalities and sectors of the economy, stressing that the introduction of the new document will enhance transparency and provide increased security and inspection capabilities for each and every foreign worker on Lebanese soil. Read more

Inkript announced the expansion of its plant in Lebanon, one of the most advanced security printing plants in the Middle East, after signing a Package Deal Contract with IDAL (Investment Development Authority of Lebanon).

Inkript acquired a 50% stake in inmobiles, an established mobile value added applications and solutions provider catering to telecom operators in the Middle East and Africa region.

Africard, subsidiary of Inkript, was awarded the production of new biometric passports for the Central African Republic. The awarded BOT project included the design and implementation of a biometric passport production site, located in the capital Bangui. The site provided a complete network infrastructure and server set-up for citizens’ enrollment, passports production and issuance, and operations management. The setup also allowed fast onsite personalization in a highly secure environment under the control of CAR authorities, in compliance with ICAO and other relevant security standards. The agreement also encompassed the gradual transfer of knowledge to the relevant CAR authorities.

Inkript, a subsidiary of RGH, announced a private placement where by an amount of $20 million was raised in equity from a group strategic investors. The transaction was managed by CFH and the funds will be used primarily for R&D and business development.
